Back in December I went with Tara Christmas shopping to The Depot. If you are ever in Concord, NC you must go there. This place is huge (located in the old Cannon Mills building) and there are antiques, vintage goodies and unique finds everywhere you look. Also, there is a train that goes by every so often and it is really neat.
Anyway, I picked up a few finds for myself while I was there. It is a must to buy yourself a gift too, right :) I found an old feed sack for $5 that I wanted to turn into a pillow. I love the little Robin Hood character! It says Archer Quality Turkey Feeds and is so pretty and worn...just the way I like it! Here is how it turned out.
I had it on the couch to start with and my husband put it on my antique folding chair that was a thrift store find, I think the chair is the perfect spot.
Love the graphics. I added some blue and white ticking fabric to the back to match with the front graphics. The extra fabric also gives the pillow some structure since the flour sack material is thin.
